The following specifications are required for viewing messages.

Message Creation & Service Usage

Notes:

1 Minimum processor and RAM are average and my vary slightly depending upon operating system used and other computer equipment. Microsoft requires 64 MB for their operating systems alone, but recommends 128 MB or better. We find that for users recording video 128 MB is a required minimum for a reliable experience.

2 Disk space requirements depend upon whether or not message recordings are stored locally on your computer. Significantly less disk space is required if you only store your messages on the message servers.

3 A Web camera is not required for use of the system unless direct, live recording of messages using the software is preferred. Video recorded with a camcorder and transferred to the computer, or other video files stored on the computer, can be imported into the software. A variety of video formats are supported for import.

4 Many Web cameras will work with the MessageBuilder Pro software, providing the manufacturer supports installation of drivers on your computer's operating system. We recommend the Logitech QuickCam Pro (Desktop and Notebook) Web camera models due to their superior image quality, integrated microphone, and reasonable price.

5 A setup utility for automating the download and installation of required software is provided within each account. Alternatively, required software can be downloaded and installed manually from the Microsoft Web site.

6 Functionality within the MessageBuilder Pro Web Portal is validated against Internet Explorer 6.0 (or greater) or Firefox 1.0.7 (or greater).
